A beautiful blue sky morning greeted us as we made our way along Glen Lochy, heading for the parking area on the B8077. With a light dusting of snow across the tops, we were eager to get going.

Booted and suited, we took the farm track, steadily gaining height above Allt Mhoille, until we came to a junction in the track after crossing Allt Lairig lanachain.

We took the right bearing, were we soon noticed a path leading up the south-east ridge of Beinn a'Chochuill.

Anyway, it wasn't long before we hit the summit ridge, were we turned west and made for Beinn a'Chochuill summit.
