Headed up into the Glens to find some snow for the dogs to play in, had intended to drive deeper into the glen but had a change of plan and headed to the small car park at the Scott Wilson Memorial for a walk up through the forest to the Airlie Monument. From there rather than heading straight back we decided to continue onwards, a rounded hill called The Goal becoming the target. Just along from the monument someone has built a wind shelter out of snow! A clear path had already been trod through the snow so the going was easy, at 5 only 5 foot I don't think I'd fancy trying to create my own path! The path did continue onwards, but from The Goal we returned the same way.
- Clear path through the snow up to The Goal and beyond!
- Looking back
