On the way there a distant Sutherland hill looks like an iceberg.

The track up -it was a lot easier underfoot than in summer with the loose stones of the newish track bound together by the frost.

I wanted to try to get a photo with both the snowy Sutherland hills and Sandend in it and this is it. The sheep obviously just wanted to be in the photo.
