Durn Hill

Hungry robin at a Banff layby.
On the way there a distant Sutherland hill looks like an iceberg.
The track up -it was a lot easier underfoot than in summer with the loose stones of the newish track bound together by the frost.
View east to Banff/Macduff, Crovie, More Head and Pennan Head.
Sandend Bay and snowy Sutherland across the Moray Firth.
Sandend.
Findlater Dovecot.
Bin of Cullen to the west.
Tap o' Noth and Knock Hill to the south.
Tap o' Noth.
Mither Tap.
Sandend.
Alvah Hill.
Scaraben is quite eye catching in its winter robe.
Morven.
Morven and Scaraben.
I wanted to try to get a photo with both the snowy Sutherland hills and Sandend in it and this is it. The sheep obviously just wanted to be in the photo.
