Four degrees but sunny.Using google maps found car park no problem.Ruined church at start very quaint.Passed through field of rams and ewes no problems haha.Rough field by railway then higher to vantage point Lindmore Loch for lunch.Nice views.Made our away back down through snow.Picked up some feathers before crossing road.Icy track uphill.Sun was dipping so caught last of heat with quick coffee break near forest.Headed round and across pheasant shooting area.Loads of birds but no shooters thankfully.Followed snowy tracks amazing scenery with fantastic views for miles of distant hills. So calm and quiet.Headed downhill through forest until road. Then immediate turn onto private road leading to track through copse and ridge in darkness with torch.Quite exciting. Then back to village and short walk to car.Varied and enjoyable walk.
