Decided to try this walk from the hotel as I had managed to briefly get the car stuck on ice the last time I tried to drive up the lane. This was a good decision as the walk up the lane is quite pleasant and it still looked a bit icy towards the end.

I parked in the small layby opposite the hotel.

Walking up the lane is a new and pleasant experience.

Quite a lot of snow lying.

Fortunately somebody has already broken a trail through the 1-2 foot of snow. It still feels like hard work lifting my lockdown legs from hole to hole.

That looked like good fun for "lockdown legs".

Looks like you have had a lot more snow than us.

The most snow I've seen on Fourman Hill anyway. I've been on the treadmill for twenty minutes a day but I don't think it makes much difference for going uphill. Still exercise though I suppose.
