Walk started at lay by on A890, had to push through scrub growth behind ruined shed to get over fence onto open ground, then picked up the old stalkers path to ascend the steep face above. Where tha path petered out headed around the corrie rim then up to the summit. Descended via north east ridge to pick up old stalkers path to descend, then another track led on to the new hydro dam and a walk back along the road to the car. The old stalking paths have fallen into disrepair but can still be followed
