As well as being a lockdown anniversary, 23rd of March was roughly when the Banffshire sunset started to appear far enough north for its light to be reflected on a sizeable stretch of sea. I'd actually missed out on the sunset proper the day before so this time made sure I was at the upper Crovie carpark in plenty of time.

Finding it hard to get going on the path as the changing light is so eye catching.

Nice reflection in the water before the sun dips below the cloud.

It is cold now but that gives me an incentive to make the exercise a bit more intense.

Still hope for the cloud to redden even after the sun has gone.

Looking back on Crovie.

Approaching the Gardenstown end of the path and the sky is still interesting.

About turn. Maybe I should have jogged but it still felt like good exercise.

Back at the Crovie end.

Not quite a sky on fire but a bit of a glow there.

A bit more fiery in the More Head direction though.
