Had a think about the Grahams beside Beinn a chleib but opted for Beinn Donachain from the falls/ bridge in Glen Orchy.
On up past the turn off and bridge which heads for the Corbett Beinn Mhic-Mhonaidh
- The way to Beinn Donachain. Opposite this is the bridge and the way to the Corbett
Carried on to the picnic table where the track cuts left. Just keep following this to the the end. Thought about going up through the forest at the end but spied a good hard-core track which was leading up the way I wanted to go - thankfully as I've had enough of jungle fighting.
Followed this track to its end and then went through the broken fence and up.
- The track ends and time to cut up right - not towards this wee top
And then down again and cut through the 1st 2 lochans and up to the high fence.
- I cut left of this heart lochan and up
Went over this and climbed up to the summit.
Went to the faraway cairn 1st and had great views over to The Cruachan hills.
- Tricky trying to do this in a bit of wind
- Beinn Eunaich zoomed
Then cut back over to the other wee cairn ( which I made to be the high point). Great views from here over to Ben Lui and Co.
Retraced my steps and back the same way.
- Over towards Dorain and An doithaidh
Glad the ground was partially frozen in places as this could have been a wet day otherwise.
Enjoyed today and this Graham
Ascent is a rough estimate
