Thought I'd stay close by today. Narnain or Vane was my choice tiday.
Ben Vane again it was, and it never dissapoints
Great views steep at times, wee bit of hands on at times. Today was made trickier by the fact it was like a sheet of ice in places after the sticky out boulder.

A lot of care needed and routes were chosen wisely up and around and through the rocks.
Glad I'd brought the microspikes today as they were a godsend .

And so it was back down slowly and carefully until off the ice and snow.
Great walk today, always good to be on Ben Vane.
Great hill
