If you are like me and prefer solitude, then I'd recommend choosing some other hike. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the hike, the views are splendid, I can only imagine how violet it should look in August. Also, the path is well made and marked, so even not having GPS you can easily orientate. And there is a big parking. That is probably why there were so many people on a good day. Luckily for me, I took the accent by Greystane Hill, it is quite nice path and I haven't met anyone until I came to the main route. The views on the Clachnaben are superb, definitely worth it.
