An escape "oot the back" to walk over to Kingswells and take in the S Top of Cloghill. ( We'd previously visited the N top on our TUmp campaign ). GordonC had planned this outing and had invited me out on another of his local exploration walks.
Wandered off down the Brodiach road then over a style which may have been installed during the gas pipeline laying many years ago. Up over the field to avoid some of the narrow road, then into the system of tracks round the S side of Cloghill.

We found the bridge over the AWPR then rounded behind Cloghill House, then looped round by the stud at Denhead and up back over the AWPR bridge.

We explored some routes up to the top of Cloghill S but elected to go up the track on the W side to avoid another "Candle Hill prickly whins " episode.. Explored the top to establish the true top, but after a wee bit o whin-bashing, gave up and returned back down to the safety of the track from whence we doth come.

On the way back we looped round the SE part of the unopened Westhill Orbital Trail ( WOT ? ), arriving unscathed from our second foray - post lockdown..
