A saturday family walk.
Initially to Garlogie woods, but as we parked up, we were assailed by a grumpy farmer, complaining that we were blocking the entrance to his field across the road. I confess that I hadn't noticed the gate on the other side of the road, but the field beyond had already been sown, so he didn't need access today, but had obviously been irked by the cars already park there, so we got both barrels. M asked where we could park - "at yer hoose " he retorted !
Obvoiusly not in conversation mode.....
Seems that he had been baulked by all the "Covid" toonies coming out for a walk and clogging up the road with their parked cars. The solution could've been a notice on the gate warning of the requirements for access by farm machinery.
Anyway, we left him patrolling the road in his tractor and headed off to the Loch of Skene where canoe-ists launched their boats.

We walked up to the loch then crossed the T on either side to extend our walk. On the way back,we passed a group of young lads smoking strange smelling baccy !

.A few mute swans were sleeping on the loch and a couple of canoes paddled by. There was a chilly wind off the loch, so we had a go on a tree swing, then retired to our garden for a cup of tea, to warm up.
