4th visit since lockdown restrictions were lifted.
A different feel to the day and with rain forecast I was at the Cally Car Park an hour earlier so started at 6:45am rather than the usual 7:45am.
Although the clouds meant there was no overnight frost it still felt as cold as my other 3 recent visits.
I was scoffing my dairylea cheese and strawberry jam rolls at Lochan Oisinneach Mor when the rain started but it was never heavy and only lasted for about half an hour.
On the way back the Landrover Experience guys stopped for a chat as I approached Mill Dam. They were out scouting the tracks and removing any debris ahead of next Monday when they take out their first customer.
A surprisingly dry day bearing in mind the forecast and another 20 miles exercise for the legs - they are now starting to realise that the days of 5 mile walks are coming to an end.
