Parked out the back of a passing place and walked up through the old quarry then angled off to pick up the ridge. This was studded with tops and tors and could prove difficult routefinding in poor weather conditions. Great views from the top. Took a more direct descent to pick up an ATV track back to the quarry, not recommended in poor visibility as there are quite a few crags and steeps to avoid. Great view as far as Orkney through the haze.
