Day7 of the cairngorm trip, last minute decision to try the 5 little hills east glen shee to cover tomorrow's walk too so I can go home tonight as back to work night shift tomoroow. home work was done last night for the routes planning. not to mention the other 2 hills I did today but thought I should share this 3 hills of my route with other hill walkers. After finish Creag nan Gabhar at Glen Shee I drove to Dalvanie Glen Isla NO18728 66168 ( the pin I dropped last night for potential parking of the Isla3) to see if its parkable, it is a farm track beginning wide opening area outside the gate. it could park one car with care without blocking the gate access, I was haopy with the parking spot, then I drove to Auchavan(NO19136 69611)- 2.3miles continue north the Glen till almost road end, Just before the descending to the bridge, dropped bike here and drove back to Dalvanie parked. 12:40 Started walk west along the track, after about 700m I left the track heading straight up northwest towards Mealna Letter(pathless untill Monamenach). Once summit reached, quick photos and carry on the ridge dropped down to the bealach east Loch Beanie and ascending to Monamenach via its south ridge at Glen Beanie. Frequant Localized snow showers every now and again all day, jacket on and off must be at least 10 times
. After summit photos I descending to Auchavan(bike parking place) through southest side of the hill( good path all the way down). Picked up my bike and cycled to Fergus ( NO 19221 68299) road then good track. Parked bike again, and heading east straight up to Badandun summit. Met one guy at the summt-a quick warm up for him after work before heading home. the only single soul I met during Isla3, had the hills all to myself
. Returned to the bike the same way, and cycled back to car at Dalvanie at 17:38 . Simply straight forward route, just a shy 5 hours and still leave me time to do Mount Blair before heading home . Started Mount Blair at 18:05 back down to car at 19:17, home time
