Started walking from the car park just after 6am this morning as the forecast for later in the day was fairly miserable.
Plenty of blue sky for the first hour but then the clouds started to appear and by the time I reached lochan OM I was in the clag and with the wind picking up it was pretty cold.
The usual quick stop at the rocks beside loch OM (even quicker today because of the cold) and then I was off on the return leg. I nearly reached Raor Lodge before seeing anyone else (which was a real surprise on a bank holiday Monday) then once past Mill Dam there were a few more people about.
Another slowish day today at 05:35 walking time and an average pace of 3.5mph. This is about 13 minutes slower than when I was doing this walk on a regular basis back in 2017 but after a long period of inactivity I need to be patient. On the plus side that's 6 near 20 mile walks in 2.5 weeks and I'd have settled for that at the end of lockdown.
