Parked at the west end of Loch Meadie in an old quarry and walked east along the road till just beyond the bridge across the Meadie Burn. Headed through some squelchy ground toward Cnoc an Daimh Beag, underfoot became drier with height gained, then continued NE to Cnoc an Daimh Mor,flattish top so had a wander around and enjoyed the extensive views. Took a bearing for the loch end and headed off crossing some haggy and soft ground to above the loch, a slight detour at the end required to avoid some crags. Lovely sandy beach at the north end of the loch, spotted what looked like an old stalkers path on a rising traverse of Meadie ridge and followed this, better walking just to one side as path in poor state but nice easy gradient to follow, emerged at top of Meadie Ridge to similar views. Headed south to Cnoc na Coilleach, some hags at beallach, then returned to car across swampy ground , might have been better sticking to the shoreline of the loch.
