Start by leaving the carpark beside the small stream. Head up the path which comes out onto a wide track which you follow for a few kilometers. Take a right up a steep trail. This will come out through the trees onto a grass hill. Follow the path along to the top of the first hill (Innerdowie).
From hear follow the path next to the wall to the top of the next peak (Tarmangie Hill). Option to go up White was hill also which will take an extra 3 minutes. Can be a bit wet, but nice soft terrain which is easy for running along if you wish.
From the top head down then right following the path to the other side of the valley. From here descend towards a small steep hill (Ben Shee), easy to see from far away in good weather.
Once nearing at the hill again onto a wider path which you can follow to avoid the hill. Or take a right onto a path to go up the hill. After which you decend down then take a right toward the dam. Cross the dam then follow path which joins with the wide trail at the start. Follow starting route back to the car.
