Plenty of spaces at the Lochearnhead car park when we arrived at 8.45. A cloudy start to the day, but dry.
We were glad of the Walk Highlands information to navigate through the tracks and paths leading seamlessly to Glen Kendrum.
- Loch Earn from the Rob Roy Way
It remained grey and overcast as we walked up the good track leading to the bealach between the Corbetts - by the time we arrived, we were in cloud for the steep ascent to Creag McRanaich. However, as we walked to the cairn, we could feel that the clag was about to lift.
- Ben Vorlich from Creag McRanaich
We retraced our steps to the bealach and from there, we managed to lick up a path leading to Cam Creag. From there, it was only a few minutes to the trig. Lovely views, although a touch of sun would have brightened the scene.
- Loch Earn and Ben Vorlich
- Creag McRanaich from Meall an t Seallaidh
We cut across below the summit, avoiding the crags to regain the track and an easy walk back to the car.
Lovely quiet day.
