The start for this group, 1 Corbett & 2 Grahams, on the A838 between Loch. Merkland & Loch More is the well maintained stalker's path across a footbridge between 2 plantations, the larger western Kinloch Brae having been harvested. At the back of the passing place just east of the western edge of the remaining plantation, there is room for 2 cars to park. After 2km the stalker's path ends at a cairn on a flat area at 450m. A slight rough descending traverse SSW to meet the grassy stalker's path at Pollagan Dubha at 430m assists attaining the col Drochaid Beinn Leoid 546m after 5.5km whence an easy 1.7km and 246m ascent WNW reaches Beinn Leoid's summit trig 792m within a shelter cairn.Back to the col and 204m 1km ENE up to Meallan a' Chuaill's small summit cairn 750m perched on cliff edge. Descend N ridge then E to cross outflow of Loch Cul a' Mhill then NE to Meall an Fheur Loch's summit cairn 613m after 12.6km. Descent by NW broad ridge to meet the first stalker's path back to car.

We had a fine day out on these three.... Good bright weather and a reasonable image of Ankle and Foinaven from the wee Loch.

Thanks for writing this walk up. We more or less followed it to the letter and had a great day out.
