As the forecast was a dryish morning, with wind and rain moving in, we get an early start and arrived at Dalrigh just before nine.
As always, a lovely walk along the track to Coronish.
- Ben Chuirn from Coronish
Once past the farm, we passed through the two gates, before picking up a very faint path leading uphill. We now had showers and an increasingly strong wind. At the level ground about halfway up, we had a break and got the waterproofs on.
- Ben Lui from the tea-break stop.
It wasn't too far from here to the cairn, but unfortunately, it was cloudy. This must be a great viewpoint on a clear day.
We followed the fence posts to the col with the 773m top. Although the weather was now mucky, it was only a few minutes to the top and from there, a straightforward descent to the track.
As we were now feeling rather damp, we decided to defer lunch until we got back to the car!
