Route description: Garbh Bheinn of Ardgour

Brill day with Val doing the Great Ridge incl the direct start. Finishes right on the summit. Small female adder seen on the walk in and ptarmigan with chicks on the way down. Great weather if a little hazy on top. 2 hours to walk in to foot of route, 4 hours on the route and 2 hours to walk down. With stops, an 8.5 hour day.

I agree with you it is one of the very fine classic ridges in Scotland so much so that I returned three times for this one a definite three star route. :) As you say direct to the very summit.
