With the appearance of summer there have been a huge number of excellent reports from all sorts of outdoor adventures in May.

However it was a report from last August that really caught our eye. Wildmountaintimes' 9 Fannichs and the conditions of a lifetime had everything: a fogbow, inversions, wild swimming, a high camp, an epic mountain round combined with loads of superb photos and an entertaining read, not to mention the midges at the start. Well done for winning the Cotswold Outdoor £100 voucher for walk report of the month.

The runner up prize goes to Jupe1407 for Sgurr Mor by Kayak. Taking advantage of the latest easing of lockdown this was a real adventure with a few hairy moments and plenty of laughs. Thanks for posting and there's a £50 Cotswold Outdoor voucher on its way to you.

With the good weather set to continue and Glasgow finally about leave to travel restrictions behind we're really looking forward to enjoying all the reports from June - have a great month!

Many thanks. Glad to see that the months it took me to finally finish the report weren’t in vain
