Great stuff and well done. 8) Brilliant report description too !

Looks like it was a good old slog through the snow to get to the climb.

nice one mountainstar, done the dorsal arete in january this year, you would have been quicker decending broad gully, or did it look to dodgy with the fresh snowfall ?

Nice one - looks like a good day out 8)

I see you're developing climber-like tendancies as well - not bothering to go to the summit

Aye yes, superb thanks for that. Great to see another way up for us walkers to witness. Loved Stob Coire Nan Lochan walking round this way on the way to Bidean last year. Well done!

Did I not mention in my report  that we were behind several groups of climbers and therefore ended up waiting and hanging about at various pitches for over 2 hours, so the summit was out, infact it was starting to get dark when we got back to the layby at 6.30pm.

Yes your right, we sort of went into auto pilot for some reason and started walking down the ridge, only when we got down to the lochans and looked back did we comment about that we should have come down broad gully, which was in perfect condition. :?

When I went up Dorsal a few weeks ago it was really busy as well. Bum sliding down Broad gully is the quickest way down :D
