I walked from Drymen to Balmaha, and went up Conic Hill en route. (There's also the option to go around it). Although I _did_ make it, and I'm glad I did it, I didn't find it to be the easy hike that many describe it as. I stopped a lot on the way up, and my knees started to hurt on the way down. I'm 48, and walk/hike a lot, but usually on more level terrain. (On the other hand, there were people in their 60s and 70s zipping past me, so maybe I'm just bad at hills?) So -- highly recommended, but with the caveat that it is definitely a hill, and not the "easy walk" some people say it is!
