Campervan trip 27 1st 2021
Dry and warm again with a moderate S wind higher up.
From our overnight at the S end of Loch Stack (by the hardstanding at the bridge) we drove to Gualin House. We used a parking area by the bridge at NC310570. I walked the bike over the heather to the main track just below Gualin House and had a fast ride to NC344522 by the bridge over the Allt Coire Duail 35min. On foot due W to the bealach at NC323519 then a steep climb over broken ground to Ceann Garbh 902m 1hr 45min. Along the ridge to Ganu Mor 911m 25min and 20min return to 902m. Descent by same route 1hr 15min to the bike. 40min on bike all the way on the track to Gualin House rather than cut across the heather. Back at van 13:00 so 5hrs exactly.
A great route. Last time on Foinaven (with Arkle) 10/05/2009.
To the walkers' car park for an overnight.
