This is an ideal walk on a cloudy day as it remains low level all the way. The track and path are easy to follow and while there are some boggy sections, nothing a decent waterproof pair of boots can’t deal with.
I did this with my wife and dog as a break from more strenuous longer walks, the views across Loch Slapin to Torrin and back towards Ben na Cro and Bla bhein are really lovely. I salute John Muir Trust for tackling the conifers and gradually re-introducing broadleaf trees.
We walked back along the road. Good views all the way and we probably saw about 10 cars in two miles. All in all, not a taxing walk but a good low level alternative.
