I haven't had too many views from the 13 munros I've done so far this year so I felt like the Scottish weather gods owed me one . . . today they delivered. I decided to enjoy a bit more sleep this morning due to the clocks changing and the fact that I figured if I waited a bit to do this walk the clouds might disperse. Good call! I got started a little after 10 and made my way through Kirkton farm and onto the swampy slopes. This is one boggy slog and I was shocked that it only took me 2.5 hours to reach the summit, felt like 5 to be honest. Once at the top the sun started to shine through the clouds and by the time I headed back over the south top it had turned into a glorious day. The descent, although still boggy, was made better by the constant views of the Crianlarich hills and the Ben Lui group. Some of my photos turned out pretty good from this walk, so since there are loads of reports for this route I'll keep it short. So glad spring has arrived!!
