If you're thinking about starting Munro Bagging and are asking the question 'Which Munro is the easiest to climb' then look no further than the beautiful Schiehallion, standing above Loch Rannoch in Perthshire. It's a fantastic Munro for beginners looking to stretch their legs, with a very well maintained path almost all the way to the summit, and excellent views, Schiehallion is a great place to see if Munro Bagging is for you. An additional car park was built earlier this year so there is a massive increase in space.

It's certainly very straightforward in benign weather, although often very busy. Glad you had a nice day.
In poor visibility, or winter conditions, the last section can be awkward though, although the boulder field is much easier to cross when it's covered in frozen snow!
I once had to 'rescue' two old folk who had been abandoned by their daughter and SIL, just before the final section, in whiteout conditions. The mum was clearly annoyed, but was trying not to show it, so I took my leave rather quickly before the shouting match started
