Wow, what a trip. There are some incredible skies in those photos. I hope to get up to those peaks one day. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Its an amazing place, and whatever way you choose to go to the summits, the journey in is very much part of the adventure.

I've done a few multi-day canoe trips, plus a few 'canoe/climb' trips, including down Loch Quoich to Ben Aden this May, but nothing anywhere near as committing as this trip! Well done. Excellent report and superb photographs, truly a memorable adventure, I am sure.

Best report this year so far (with little likely to eclipse it)!

As on most of your trips, some serious effort required to get to half of the lochs that you end up paddling 8) .

I must have missed this when first posted...but what a fab time - apart from the bits where you had to carry the canoes along roads. Just superb pictures too. Great :D

Some of us think this should at least be joint first for WR of the month. Congratulations on your runner up place.

Thanks. We seem to be getting more adventurous each year, but my next trip will be more of a holiday! Just short portages and a paddle or three.

Cheers! The roads were the easy bits, the wheels work there! Somehow less fun than the off road carries though!

Thank you, but I'm more than happy with anything, and Keith's post really captured a lifetime of Munro adventuring.

Brilliant report, the narrative and photos are superb, as for the organisation and planning, and the fun for all those involved, its beyond wonderful

Watching your gradual approach to this two striking mountains I felt I could visualise you all from the summits, paddling and porting across one of my favourite views - pure magic even for a reader, what it must have been like to be there - I'm not sure my imagination is up to your achievements
