Cycled in from Aclean on Tuesday night, put up the tent at a lovely spot between two trees where the track splits, had three garrons for company all night. Left the tent just before 6 in the morning, there was clod and mist above about 700m, walked up the track past Lochan an t-Sluic, and round to the top of Leathad an Taobhain, the clag was lifting and it was over 750m before visibility was lost. So it was compass bearings all the way, its a good idea to do these hills after a dry spell as there are a lot of peat hags on this route, and a rivwer crossing that could be impossible later on in the trip. The mist lifted as I left the top of Beinn Bhreac, so that made the journey down to cross the river Feshie much easier, the crossing was easy but after rain could be risky. Plodded back up to cross the watershed and picked up the degraded path all the way back to the tent, packed up and cycled out.
