We had some grand plans to do a much longer walk today, but one of our dogs took ill during the night and was feeling a bit ruff, so we opted for an easier one.
The car park suggested there was a fee to pay, but we couldn't find where, maybe it had been removed?
The walk description was easy to follow, we saw both sculptures mentioned, though expected something else. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the views, listen to bird song and have a cup of tea, though check yourself for ticks! We didn't see much wildlife, apart from several mamils who were taking part in a race, if it weren't for them the walk would have been even more dog friendly, but they were nice and polite, so we weren't bothered - and I suppose it's not every Sunday a race takes place there. Lots of lovely houses to look at - you can smell the money, but we weren't there for that. We stocked up on fresh air and home we went. I just wish the walk was longer...
