We took the walk anticlockwise from the car park alongside the river hoping to see views of the river and loch Maree. We should have packed a chainsaw as this section in densely wooded and views were few. The walk is pleasant along good roads until you get to Kernasary, the area around there is nice with good views to the East towards Beinn Airaig Charr and Slioch. Good walk along the loch path back to Poolewe.

A good afternoon's walk with quick access from the main road.
