We took the walk anticlockwise from the car park alongside the river hoping to see views of the river and loch Maree. We should have packed a chainsaw as this section in densely wooded. The walk is pleasant along good roads until you get to Kernasary, the area around there is nice with good views to the East towards Beinn Airaig Charr and Slioch. Good walk along the lock back to Poolewe.
