I went for the craggy east side for this climb having read another report doing it from there.

No real path up just a lot of wee scrambles and wading through the bracken.

Eventually got to the summit, still a bit windy but great views as the clouds had lifted.

Coming down was easier but wading through the 6 foot tall bracken was certainly challenging at times
