On paper this looked like a nice walk with some interesting sculptures to view. However, on arriving at the reservoir we discovered that the only sculpture still standing was the glenkiln cross. There isn’t any trail so to speak as it’s not a well trodden path, so essentially we trailed through a couple of fields in what seemed a pointless loop (because the sculptures are no longer there) till we arrived at the top of the hill where the cross is. Once there and looking at the map to see where to go nxt we decided to call it a day as there was nothing to aim for once we made the cross… all in all it was a rather disappointing walk in the end. ☹️
