Left from Lochgoilhead and walked through the village green, along the golf course and through the holiday village to reach the end of the track signed LL&CW, followed the road up to near the foot of the waterfall, where a sign gave the option of going left via the waterfall, or straight ahead via alternate route, I took the left and worked up beside the waterfall, before leaving the LL&CW when I saw the rising fenceline and aimed for this, soon joining a grassy path, which led to the summit, the climb up the grassy rake to get onto the ridge just north of the top is steep but not difficult. Views were grand, down the Clyde and across to Ben Lomond. Continued south along a grassy track and after the 761 top at the south end of the summit ridge headed southwest to clear crags before returning southeast to cross the outflow of Loch nan Cnaimh, and cross a fence to the start of the firebreak. It was easier to move through the trees on the east side of the burn, whose lower branches have all been broken by walker, keeping two or three rows inside the wood made for easy progress to the northeast trending firebreak which was followed with one awkward fallen tree to cross, until, after a short step uphill the extraction road was reached, which was followed back to LL&CW and Lochgoilhead
