Oh Sgurr, I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. My sincere condolences.
I had no idea that Roger was ill. It makes your trips of the last few years even more inspiring. You’ve written a lovely tribute.

What a wonderful story of Rogers life. It was very moving to read, specially with all the ups and downs he had. It must have been so hard for you both, but reading that he never gave up hope and continued hill walking, gives so much hope too!
I am really sorry for your loss! It can't have been easy writing this, but thank you so much for sharing it.

What an amazing tribute not just to Roger, but both of you. I've always read your reports with a touch of awe, loving the way you demonstrated that life on the hills can keep going on for as long as we have the mind to take ourselves out there. Thank you for sharing your hill-love, knowledge, inspiration and wit over the years. My sincerest condolences on losing such a great partner.

It must be bitter sweet to win report of the month but for me it would also win report of the year if there was one. Congratulations.

This is very inspiring while being both sad and uplifting at the same time.

As someone approaching 60 and not getting out onto the hills as much as I would like due to working overseas, I hope that when my retirement finally arrives, I am able to be so active and explore so many new places.

Thank you for sharing.
