Sgurr - I've always enjoyed your reports so much and I'm so sorry now to read of your husband's passing. What a moving, wonderful tribute you have written, absolutely inspiring. A life well lived to the very end.

I just noticed this walk report has had a record number of 👍s. 78 at the last count.
A good measurement of how good an account & tribute it is.
The No.1 report in the history of walkhighlands - hard to argue with that!

Sgurr, my sincerest condolences for your loss. This is the first time I have logged in in almost two years, saw that you've won the Walk of the Month, and was prepared to read another wonderful walk report by you.
It was indeed wonderful, and sad, and I am very much moved right now.

Roger indeed gave life his best shot, and I am sure he will be fondly remembered by all who knew him, and even by many who didn't know him, like me and many other Walkhighlands users. May the spirit of his memory continue to inspire others.
