Good stuff Stretch. Maybe I'll sort myself out and get a wild camp in this year to!

That wasn't a walk - it was an expedition - and in other times you would get a Duke of Edinburgh's gold award!
Glad to see they make tents for the longer man. :D . Great effort. Thought the best pic was looking over the coire
to the south top of Beinn a Bhuirrd, but there were loads of good uns. :D

Sounds challenging :)

Guess we got lucky with our wind direction on our Beinn a Bhuird camp - but still slept poorly.

Glad to have camped at Sourlies on saturday.

Nice trip - hear any Black Grouse lekking?

I saw a lot of different bird species on this trip Kinley, didn't take many pics of them though. I reckon the grouse were the birds calling at dusk? Still not familiar with all the sounds the locals make around here lol.

Wow that's some stretch......Stretch. If I was able to do a 24 hour walk it would probably take me all day and all night, and about a fortnight to do 35km........joking aside superb acheivement and great report.

Regards...............B

Having eyeballed the area from afar at the weekend I suspect our pitch was still snowed over.

It was quite well tucked in

Is that between Beinn a' Bhuird and the Sneck? Sort of up by the rock formations on the plateau? There was good amount of snow across the broad flat part of it!

Great stuff, enjoyed that a lot Stretch - inspiring, cheers. After being out with a couple of school groups on D of E expeditions recently a trip without being responsible for others is ever more appealing.....well done :D :D :D
