Hitched a lift with L since he was going gliding. Left from the airfeld as usual but this time realised after all these years that there is an easier way round the bad bend between the airfield entrance and Lochend farm. There's break in the fence and you can walk by the side of the field. It is so much safer. I guess the lack of vegetation is the reason I finally saw it but lots of other people clearly know it's there since it is a well walked path by the field.

Went up the new wooden steps into Kilnagad wood and the first thing I noticed is that they have taken down the deer fence. It's quite interesting going back to the same hill so many times over the last 6 years seeing all the changes over the time.
