Happy New Year, and we hope you've all had a great festive season.

Winner of our walk report of the month for December is Sgurr for Walking while "ill" - a tribute to a great
walking partnership. She wins the prize of £100 of vouchers for Cotswold Outdoor.

Runner-up this time is SteveeMac for Poor Planning on Aonach Eagach - a very honest and cautionary tale and a reminder that there are no safe descents possible from the Aonach Eagach until the end of the ridge (except northwards from Meall Dearg). Steve nets £50 of vouchers.

We hope to read more of all of your walking adventures during 2022.

I am overwhelmed, as I didn't really post it as a trip report. Would Cotswold like to donate what it would have cost them to MR in his memory? I hope I won't give up walking, but seem to have got everything that isn't clothes in duplicate now( though some is earmarked for Oxfam), and I have loads of clothes. Thank you so much. My first impulse was to run upstairs and tell R....I suppose that will wear off in time.

Congratulations to SteveeMac
