This was a Midwek Mountaineering Club meeet at Mill Cottage, and Jim Graham and I decided to go a walk up Binnein Shios, we were delayed by having to make an urgent drop in to the truck stop at Newtonmore for a bacon roll and coffee, so we set off at about 11:00 from Moy. Wandered along the track on the east side of Loch Laggan and chose a point to head up through thin trees to the col, this was more extensive than the map suggested, and we crossed some wetter ground to get onto the ridge, which narrowed a little with height and the views became more interesting. After a couple of false tops we reached the summit and headed back to the car, too late to call in again at Newtonmore for planned coffee and cake.
