Parking space was full at 11.10 am - had to park up the road a bit.
Sunny but not too cold for the whole walk - needed a fleece at most. Some snow patches, but not too much.
Only wildlife was a number of grouse.
Good views across glen to Carn a Gheoidhe. From summit, big drop across to Beinn Iutharn Bheag and Mhor nearby. Glas Tulaichean looked impressive behind. Cairnwell looked minor compared to Glas Maol in distance.
Could cycle up track until path up hill.
Warning
Please note that hillwalking when there is snow lying requires an ice-axe, crampons and the knowledge, experience and skill to use them correctly. Summer routes may not be viable or appropriate in winter. See winter information on our skills and safety pages for more information.
