Despite having a sore ankle (tendon issues) the weather is just too nice to sit at home so headed for Innerdouny Hill. As I went into the parking area there was a no parking sign on the left, fortunately I soon noticed another sign on the right side saying to park there so parked up and set off following the forestry track. Most of the trees have been felled so there are views to the surrounding hills on the way up. It's an easy route, at a junction take the right track the route entering a forested area, at a clearing (views across to West Lomond) walk to the far side where there is a fence and follow the path that runs alongside the fence all the way to the summit! Despite only being a small hill, the views were pretty good and it was a nice day to be out for a walk, it certainly didn't feel like January!
