Decided to head out for the first time this year as had a few hours to spare and weather was ok.

After quick look at maps decided upon Colsnaur via Myreton Hill in the Ochils. Parked in the village and then set off up the farm track which is decent underfoot. followed it up and then headed off fairly close to the top of Myreton - skirting round the front of the lower hill and then picking up the wall and following it before peeling off to get to Myreton. Were in the cloud and it had cooled a fair bit, so jackets on at this point. From here, followed the fenceline down and then up, before crossing it and then heading Northish up the shoulder of Colsnaur - we initially followed the fenceline, but then ventured over 20m or so and picked up the trodden path following it up and crossing over the fence again just before reaching the top. Given the wind direction, we were well protected at the top by the natural rocks and so decided to stop for a snack and a quick hot drink. Originally had planned to walk on towards Blairdenon and then coming back down towards Jerrah Woods, but we chose the option of a bit of heather tramping off the top to get down and pick up the farm track again and then took the grass track round the back of Myreton before picking up the next farm track. Rather than following this all the way down, we jumped off the track at the other side and down one of the hill paths back down towards Menstrie.
