Beinn a'Bhacaidh from Loch Knockie with Kids (8, 11, 17)

60 Sub2000s done :)

Stats:
Total distance - 5.6 km
Total time - 3h30m
Walking time - 2h00m
Altitude gain - 345 m

Beinn a'Bhacaidh was our second Sub2000 on this day (We climbed up Meall an Tarsaid before).

The way from the start to the burn is good and dry. The rest of the way up is a mix of grass and short heather, rough and a bit boggy in places. The walking was not very difficult, just steep.

Start of the walk. There is a car park at Loch Knockie for 3-4 cars:

After 1.7 km on the good track we reached a burn where we left the track and headed up mostly pathless. It was steep but the ground was quite good, a mix of grass and short heather, rough in places but the walking was not very difficult. In some places we followed an animal path or a stream.

On the summit there was really strong wind therefore we took only a few photos and headed down.
We took a bit of a different way down (and me to the left, Kids to the right :) ):

Our way down to the track was not better than the way up. It was very steep in some places.
