Some of the best photos of the area that I've seen, and provides an inspiration to get there. 8) The remaining snow still looks spectacular, I particularly like the photo of Stob Coire an t-Saighdeir. What a great day, and quite some overall distance covered as well even with the bike. Cheers! :D

Intriguing shot of Glen Guesachan, looks like a plain far far below. I should return here, when I see this. I have memories of a very windy, very wet october bivouac on Cairn Toul. The kind of thing that even afterward fails to sound good.

wow that look like ye had a great day ... think me and my son are gonna try this walk on sat and then camp overnight at derry lodge or at the bothy ..... not sure yet but thanx for the inspiration

Hope you get decent weather - if you do & are staying at the bothy try and go on to Braeriach. Some simply amazing views to be had.
