Heard this was muddy so waited until a day that was cold. Some of the bog was frozen but as the day wore on it got warmer so on the way back down it was getting boggy. Hate to think what it is like on warm wet day.
Saw a mountain hare.

Reading some other reports, I'd heard about the alien landscape when it's frozen and right enough the bog does look a bit weird.

Peat icicles! These had all gone when I cam back down.
