I agree. In the winter, even a tiny bit of snow can send you sliding around. In the very dry weater the earth beneath seems to transform itself into ball -bearings and you do the same. While between times a quagmire develops between the sentry gorse bushes which guard the only way up. Moreover, there is a false summit. When I foolishly leave it yet again to the last one of my round of 7 Marilyns in a day, it is always the sting in the tail.
